Operating Manual

6. Firmly squeeze the handle of the flow cell and carefully pull it from

the opening in the detector.

CAUTION—UV Radiation

The deuterium lamp emits UV radiation that is harmful to eyes and skin.

Do not look and do not reach into the flow cell opening while no flow
cell or diagnostic cell is installed and the UV lamp is turned on.

If the flow cell is to be stored

Store the flow cell in its original packaging that it was shipped in.

If a flow cell is to be installed

Install the flow cell (see

9. Install the flow cell cover.

NOTICE

The flow cell opening on the device is sensitive to dust and debris.

If no flow cell is installed to the device, close the flow cell opening with
the cover for the flow cell opening.
