Profile intensity scale Shows the scale and corresponding colors used by the selected
profile . Areas of the chemical image that correlate with the profile
algorithm are displayed in the colors at the top of the profile
intensity scale.
Right-click the profile intensity scale for these options:
• Copy as picture . Copies an image of the profile intensity
scale to the Windows Clipboard. The copied image can be
pasted into any word processing, presentation, or other
compatible application.
• Save as EMF . Saves an image of the profile intensity scale as
an EMF (Enhanced Metafile), which is a 32-bit version of the
Windows Metafile image file format.
• Select colormap . Select an available color combination for all
profile types except MCR.
• Select MCR profile colormap . Select an available color
combination for the MCR profile type.
Tip Drag the lower limit of the profile intensity scale to shorten
the scale.
Mosaic pane Shows the optical image of the sample surface (i.e., what you see
when you look through the microscope eyepiece) and any
collected mosaics. Any regions of acquired chemical image data
are overlaid on the mosaic.
Right-click the mosaic pane for these options for copying and
saving data:
• Select all items.
• Select all within specified rectangle. Click and drag to draw
a rectangle and select all regions within the boundary. This is
especially useful for selecting many particles at once during
particle analysis setup. Also selects points.
• Delete all items. Deletes all regions and points in the mosaic.
• Delete selected items. Deletes all selected regions and points.
