Vanquish Pumps (VH-P10-A-02) Operating Manual

NOTICE 

A firmware downgrade or incomplete firmware update may 

result in loss of functionality or malfunctioning of the pump. 

•

 

Do not interrupt communication between the Chromeleon software 
and the pump at any time during the procedure. 

•

 

At the beginning of the update process, a message appears showing 
the firmware version currently installed in the pump and the version 
that will be transferred from the Chromeleon software. If the 
firmware installed in the pump is a later version than the version in 
Chromeleon, cancel the download. 

The firmware update may take several minutes. 

•

 

Monitor the Audit Trail of the Chromeleon Instrument Configuration 
Manager (or Server Configuration program) to see whether the 
firmware update was successful or failed. 

•

 

If the firmware update failed, turn the device off and on again and 
repeat the firmware update. 

•

 

If the firmware update fails repeatedly, contact Thermo Fisher 
Scientific Technical Support for assistance. 

3.  After a successful firmware update, requalification of the pump may 

be required. See the release notes for a recommendation.
