Solvent suitable for your application 

Preparations 

1.  To flush out harmful substances, purge the pump with an 

appropriate solvent. 

2.  Turn off the pump flow and wait until the system pressure is down 

to zero. 

3.  Remove the Y-connector (see

 section 7.6, page 134

). 

Follow these steps 

1.  Loosen and remove the outlet check valve. 

2.  Tighten the new outlet check valve finger-tight. 

3.  Install the Y-connector (see

 section 7.6, page 134

). 

4.  Purge the pump using the solvent for your application.
