Use the following procedure to replace the converter assembly board. 
Equipment Required: 

Phillips drive, #2 

1.

 

Turn the instrument OFF, unplug the power cord, and remove the 

cover. 

2.

 

Remove DMC Converter as described in “

DMC Converter 

Replacement

” in this chapter. 

3.

 

Unplug electrical J6 and J7. 

4.

 

Using a #2 Phillips drive, unfasten four 6-32 pan head screws.

Pull converter assembly board outwards. 

6.

 

Replace converter assembly board and assemble in reverse order.
