9-48

SLX retrofit Clutch Tensioner

1. Remove the existing belt guard and Tensioner
2. Grind or cut off the tab from the side of the bolt-on frame post.

NOTE: For ease of setting the belt tension, it is recommended 

1. Ensure that the distance between the motor pulley and the motor bracket is 42mm, or the distance between the motor pulley 

and the eccentric plate is 14.8 mm.

2. A 1/2” breaker bar and the extension can be used to move the tensioner to allow easier installation of the belt.
3. The routing of the belt on the new tensioner is the same as if the old tensioner is used.
