C.1.1 Universal M&C SSPA Status Window 

 
As each SSPA unit is added to the Universal M&C, a new window will appear in the 
screen. The initial screen is the Status Window, as shown in 

Figure C-3

. 

The Status window displays the current conditions (or state) of the active unit. In addi-
tion, the Status window allows the user to Mute or Unmute the carrier and manually 
adjust the on-board Attenuator for gain control. 
 
The Status window displays the model number, serial number, firmware version and 
various network information for the connected unit. The core SSPA temperature,  
forward RF power and voltage and current readings are also displayed.  
 
The Status window also features a Summary Fault indicator for the unit. If the unit has 
experienced a major (summary) fault condition, this indicator will illuminate red. Other-
wise, it will illuminate green.
