Introduction
The TallyGenicom Line Matrix Impact Printers are designed to handle heavy
duty, high volume workloads, with a straight paper path that provides unattended,
jam-free printing of continuous forms, at high speeds. They have a wide range of
printer emulations, network printer management ability, popular graphics
languages and web administration utilities.
The LG Series is specifically designed to be compatible with DEC/Compaq
computer systems.
The native control language of the printer is plug-compatible with DEC LG06 and
Genicom LG Plus printers.
The standard LANPlex configuration implements PJL in order to provide full bi-
directional job control.
Preface
All interface configurations and printer setups
are performed through the control panel on the
top right of the unit. And since the printer’s
operational configuration is stored in nonvolatile
memory; you’ll never have to reconfigure your
printer because of a power loss.
