10 Troubleshooting
10.1 Pinpointing malfunctions
DETECTABLE FAULT MEASURE
No reading

Check whether the supply voltage is connected.

Check whether the mains plug is connected.

Check whether the instrument is switched on.
Fault message in the display

Analyze the fault message according to Section 10.3.
The reading appears to be
wrong

Ensure that the sample to be measured corresponds
to the operating conditions (Section 2.9.1/
Section 9.9).

Carry out recalibration ( Section 9.10).

Check whether the instrument is correctly mounted
(Section 4).

Ensure that the servicing duties have been performed
according to the servicing schedule (Section 9.1).
