2. Be sure to connect this system and its peripheral devices
to wall receptacles, which meet the rated power
requirement written on the nameplate. If adapters or
multifunctional receptacles are used, it may cause the
leakage current to exceed the safety requirement.
In addition, please connect the video printer to the special
auxiliary power outlet of this system, and use the cable
provided with this system to connect the printer. Other
cables may result in electric shock.
3.2.2 Equipotential Terminal
The equipotential terminal is used for balancing the protective earth potentials between the
system and other electrical equipment. For the equipotential terminal location, please refer to
“2.6.2 Power Supply Panel”.
WARNING:
1.
Be sure to connect the equipotential wire before inserting
the power plug into the receptacle; be sure to remove the
power plug from the receptacle before disconnecting the
equipotential wire; otherwise electric shock may result.

When you connect another device to this system, you
should use the equipotential wire to connect each of
equipotential terminals; otherwise electric shock may
result.
3.
Connect the earth cable before turning ON the system.
Disconnect the earth cable after turning OFF the system.
Otherwise, electric shock may result.

DO NOT connect this system to the outlets with the same
circuit breakers and fuses that control the current to
devices such as life-support systems. If this system
malfunctions and generates over-current, or when there is
an instantaneous current at power ON, the circuit breakers
and fuses of the building’s supply circuit may be tripped.
3.2.3 Powered by Battery
When connected to the external power supply, the system is powered by the external power.
The battery inside it is in charging status. When disconnected from the external power supply,
the system is powered by the batteries.
