Image Optimization 5-37
Rotating the Image
The system supports the following rotation modes:
z
Sphere center rotation
z
Axial rotation
z
Auto rotation
z
Quick rotation

Sphere center rotation
Rotate the 3D image around the center point of the 3D image.
z
Procedures
a) Set 3D image window as the current window.
Click [Cur. Win] to be “VR” on the menu; or, move the cursor onto 3D image window,
and press <Set> to select the 3D image window as the current window.
b) The system actives sphere center rotation mode by default. You can roll the
trackball to rotate the 3D image.
In sphere center rotation, the three sectional planes will change in real-time with the
rotation of 3D image.

Axial rotation
Axial rotation is to rotate the currently activated image around the X, Y or Z axis.

Procedures
a) Select the current image.
b) Rotate the corresponding knobs to make the image rotate, here,

To rotate along X-axis: press <Scale> and rotate the Multifunctional Knob.

To rotate along Y-axis: press <Baseline> and rotate the Multifunctional Knob.
h
To rotate along Z-axis: press <Menu> and rotate the Multifunctional Knob.

Auto rotation
(1) In 3D viewing mode, click [Rot.] on the top of the menu, system enters into auto
rotation preparation state.
(2) Click [Direct] to set the auto rotation direction.
(3) Set Start position and End position:
Start position: click [Set Start];
End position: Roll the trackball to view to a certain position, or click [L/R Rot.] and
[U/D Rot.] to select the L/R and U/D rotation range respectively, and then click [Set
End].
(4) Click [Auto Rot] to be "On”, the system loads the data and starts to rotate.

Click [Speed] to set the rotate speed.
z
Click [RE Mode] to set the rotation mode.
(5) Click [Save AVI to USB] to save images to the connected peripheral storage devices
in AVI format.
(6) Press <ESC> exit auto rotation.

Quick Rotation
Click [Quick Rot.] on the image review menu to rotate the VR.

Reset
You can use [Reset All] to reset the VR image to initial status in the above mentioned
rotation modes (not applicable to auto rotation).
