Notes on electrical installation

Installation (MDR60A1320-503-00)

12.2.4 Specifications of the used cables

• The cables have to meet the specifications required for the operation site.

• Observe the regulations concerning minimum cross sections of PE conductors.

• The effectiveness of a shielded conductor is determined by

– a good shielding connection.

– a low impedance.

• Use shields made of tin-plated or nickel-plated copper braiding only.

– The overlap factor of the braiding must be at least 70 % to 80 % with an overlap

angle of 90°.

• Use the prescribed line protection fuses to protect the incoming cables of the regen-

erative power supply units.
