The value relates to the number of rea

dings that the ﬁlter averages over. i.e. 15 would

mean a ﬁlter length of 15 readings. The measurement reading updates ﬁve times per

second, therefore in this case the ﬁlter length is three seconds of measurement data.

Note:

It is only

recommended that the ﬁlter level is altered, default value of 8 readings, if

excessive measurement ﬂuctuations are experienced. This could be caused by high

levels of vibration or sample system ﬂuctuations, and we recommend that the root

causes of the ﬂuctuations are fully investigated before applying higher ﬁlter levels, as

increasing ﬁlter length increases the response time of the

analyser

i.e. at a ﬁlter

length of 064 the response time (T90) of the

analyser

is approximately 19 seconds.

the Flowcube (F

) Flow Sensor

(option)

The

ﬂow sensor op�on measures the sample ﬂow through a measurement transducer and allows the

user to conﬁgure two low ﬂow alarms and one high ﬂow alarm. The ﬂow sensor allows preventa�ve

maintenance to be taken before the sample ﬂow rate reduces to unacceptable levels Sec�on 2.4.
