RTE/2- RTE/2- TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The RT-E grinding unit grinds the side of the panel to be edged, eliminating any imperfections.
It can be supplied without track feelers
(s. FIG.1) or with track feelers (s. FIG.2) , depending from the
machine type and optionals.
It is composed of the following main parts:
• Front milling unit (FIG.1-REF.1).
• Rear milling unit (FIG.1-REF.2).
• Front track feeler (FIG.2-REF.1)
(version with track feelers).
It is in contact with the non-machined panel surface. It determines the right position of the front tool.
• Rear track feeler (FIG.2-REF.2) (version with track feelers).
It is in contact with the machined panel surface. It determines the right position of the rear tool.
• Pneumatic actuators (FIG.3-REF.1) (version without track feelers).
• Pneumatic actuators (FIG.3-REF.2) (version with track feelers)
Determine the introduction and the exclusion of the milling units from the working line.
• Extraction hoods (FIG.1-REF.3).
RTE/2.1- «EASY SIZE» DEVICE (OPTIONAL) RTE/2.1- «EASY SIZE» DEVICE (OPTIONAL)
It is composed of:
• Front track feeler with position controlled by NC (see FIG.4).
• Guide in machine entry with position controlled by NC.
This device allows the variation of the thickness of the applied edging still leaving the entry panel width
unchanged (and, therefore, the panel cutting program on the panel sizing machine before the edge
banding machine).
