Working with Composition Layers

Understanding Layers

In a Soap 2 composition, you’ll drop photo, text and objects onto the canvas. Each piece
you add to your composition is a separate layer. Layers work like this. Imagine each part
of your composition is drawn on a piece of clear plastic or film. As you lay each piece of
“film” in place, you build a composition.
