ALARM RINGING STATION
FOR:
DCS
CII
i
DCS100
Purpose:
Determines which devices will be alerted when an alarm sensor is activated.
Devices can be stations or station groups.
Devices will ring like a doorphone and follow the door ring time-out. When ringing, dis-
play keysets show the display assigned in
. The bottom line of
the keyset display gives an option to clear the alarm. Ringing initiated by an alarm sen-
sor is answered by going off-hook and on-hook again at a ringing keyset.
If a device such as Ring Over Page or a common bell is the only device assigned to ring,
it may be answered by assigning a direct pickup key with this device as the extender. If
the alarm is unanswered by the door ring time-out, ringing will cease but the display will
remain until cleared by dialling the alarm clear feature code and passcode (default
8765).
