4. Installation 4-7 Connecting the power and signal cables

5 Connect the power and signal cables to the terminal plate.
Connect the cables to the following terminals on the
terminal plate. For information on how to connect cables to
the terminal plate, refer to ‘4-7-5 Connecting cables to the
terminal plate’.

Recommended insulation length: 40 - 50 mm
When connecting cables, connect the cable shielding to
the terminals at the top left or top right on the inside of the
main unit.
Depending on the installation location, noise interference
may result.
In such cases, remove the shielding.
6 Route the cable from inside the main unit to the
connector.
Route to the connector on the side where the cable gland
or conduit is attached.
7 Mount the terminal plate on the terminal plate board.
Adjust the cable position so that no load is applied to the
terminal plates.
