Measurement Type

Sets the measurement type.

Remote command:

CALCulate<Measurement>:TYPE

Primary Sensor, Secondary Sensor

Available for continuous average, burst average, trace, pulse analysis, time gate, time-
slot measurements.

Assigns the primary or secondary sensor. You can choose any of the sensors that are
connected to a sensor port of the R&S NRX. The port letter, to which the sensor is con-
nected, is displayed in front of the hostname of the sensor.

Example: C: NRP33SN-104711; C is the port, NRP33SN-104711 is the sensor name.

If "Prim. Single" is set under

Channel Calculation Function

, the secondary sensor is

disabled.

If a power sensor does not support the selected

Measurement Type

, a settings conflict

is displayed. See also

You can combine the measured values from the primary and secondary sensor using a
mathematical function. The primary and secondary sensors are assigned under

Apart from the "Prim. Single" function, all functions require values measured by two
sensors.
