ActiveScale™ OS X100 Rackless Installation Guide

b. Secure the inner rail to the System Node using one of the screws.
c. Repeat steps a - b on the other side of the System Node using the other inner rail.

3. Align the rails on the System Node to the rails attached to the rack and push the System Node into the

rack. On the sides of the rail, pull the blue tabs forward to allow the inner rail to slide all the way in.

Important:

The server weight is 12.2 kg. (27 lbs.). Take precautions when

handling the System Node.

4. With the System Node inserted fully into the rack, screw the thumb screws on the front of the system

into the System Node.

5. Repeat the unpacking and installation steps for each of the other two System Nodes.

Important:

Be sure to rack the System Nodes in the order shown below.

5.2 Connecting power cables to the System Nodes

Connect two power cables to each System Node that has been installed in the rack.

Note:

Do not connect the power cables to the PDU until the phase
