The print system should always be the first device in the emergency
connection chain.

How to activate the emergency stop function

Emergency
stop function

If an unexpected error occurs, you can stop the printer by hitting the red
emergency stop button. All devices connected within the emergency loop
will instantly stop and the green release button will start to flash fast.

If there is no emergency stop loop connection (Stand-alone operation),
only the affected device will stop.

The emergency stop function does not disconnect the device

from the mains power!
Do not open or try to repair the device while in emergency

stop mode. Unplug the device from the wall outlet before
performing any service.

Restart the
device

To restart the device, unlock the red emergency button by turning it
clockwise and then press the green emergency release button.
Now the device can be started normally again.

If the emergency stop function gets activated while printing, the
printer will stop instantly within the print job. The affected page

impression will get lost, but the rest of the print job may be resumed.

To stop and pause the print job in a more controlled way, please use
the Cancel

button.

Open 5-pin connection cable 9200561S
The devices works only when the input to pin 1 and pin 2
are closed. The input signal must be potential-free (dry
contact only, no voltage).
In case of an emergency stop, the device will close the relay
contact 3 and 4 (max. 48V, 500mA).
