Interfaces.

print unit(s) <-> SCSI-3 cable <-> control unit

Never connect or disconnect a SCSI-3 cable to or from a print unit
or the control unit while the printer is turned on! If this warning
is ignored, the printer’s electronics will get damaged!

Connect the SCSI-3 cable(s) to the print unit(s) and the control units
very carefully! Make sure that none of the pins in the SCSI-3 cable is

bent. Always tighten the fixing screws at all connectors completely

•

The connection to the PC will be explained in chapter 7, on 121.

The connection to the power supply will be explained in chapter 5 Initial start-up of

Make sure to insert all strapping plugs into the emergency system interface according to the
setup of your print system. See chapter 4.5 Emergency stop connection, on page 42 for a
detailed explanation.
