Adjusting the steering wheel
WARNING
Steering wheel adjust-
ment while driving
The steering wheel can move further than intended
if adjusted while driving. You may lose control of the
vehicle.
e
Do not adjust the steering wheel while driving.
Adjusting the steering wheel manually

1. Swivel the locking lever downward.
2. Move the steering wheel vertically and horizon-
tally in order to adjust the steering wheel posi-
tion to the tilt of the backrest and seat position.
3. Turn back the locking lever to the original posi-
tion until you feel it engage.
Adjusting the steering wheel electrically
CAUTION
Uncontrolled retrieval of
the memory settings
If persons or animals are within the range of move-
ment of the steering wheel, there is a risk of parts of
the body being pinched or crushed when you adjust
the steering wheel.
e Do not leave children unattended in the vehicle.

e Move the switch under the steering column in
the relevant direction until the desired position is
reached.
