CAUTION
In the event of contact
with the tire sealant
Irritation or allergic reactions after contact with tire
sealant.
e
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
e
If tire sealant gets on your skin or into your eyes,
thoroughly rinse the affected part of your body
immediately with plenty of water.
e
Change soiled clothing immediately.
e
Consult a doctor immediately in the event of an
allergic reaction.
e
If tire sealant is swallowed, thoroughly rinse out
the mouth without delay and drink plenty of
water. Do not induce vomiting. Consult a doctor
immediately.
WARNING
Failure to detect pres-
sure loss in the tire
A tire pressure sensor that is soiled with tire sealant
cannot determine the tire pressure correctly.
e
When the defective tire is changed, have the tire
pressure sensor replaced as well.

Preparing to fill
1.
Leave the foreign object that caused the punc-
ture in the tire.
2.
Remove the sealant bottle, the supplied "max. 50
mph (80 km/h)" sticker and the compressor
from the luggage compartment.

3.
Affix the sticker in the driver's field of vision.
Filling tire sealant (Tire Mobility System -
TMS) and inflating the tire

Refer to the operating instructions for the tire
sealant.

Follow the separate operating instructions for
the compressor.

Unscrew the valve cap from tire valve

Connect the compressor to a 12-volt socket in
the vehicle via plug

, switch on the ignition and
activate the compressor via switch

. Inflate the
tire to between 29 psi (2.0 bar) and 36 psi
(2.5 bar) and read off the tire pressure from
pressure gage

. Switch off the compressor. If
this tire pressure cannot be reached within 6
minutes, the tire is too severely damaged. Do not
continue driving with that tire.
7.
Unscrew filling hose from tire valve
E
and refit
the valve cap.
Depending on equipment, a compressor is supplied
that must be connected to the emergency starting
points via terminal clamps and cannot be connected
to a 12-volt socket in the vehicle. Observe the se-
quence below:
