Information
Observe any country-specific laws relating to the
use of parking assistance systems with remote
control.
System limitations
The system limits of active parking support apply:

In addition, the following conditions apply:
The system is not available:
If the Bluetooth
®
connection between cellphone and
vehicle is affected by interference from other
devices.
The system cannot detect:
– Objects in garages above the detection area (e.g.
garage door linkage, and other objects that are
not touching the ground).
– Objects that are very low or lying on the ground.
– Very narrow or protruding obstacles (e.g. parked
bicycles).
– Double garages.
Functions
With remote parking, the functions of the active
parking support can be controlled via the app with
remote-control function outside the vehicle.

Parking
Parking is active under the following conditions:
– Parking backward into parking spaces parallel to
the road.
– Reversing into parking spaces perpendicular to
the road, between two parked vehicles.
– Driving forward into parking spaces perpendicu-
lar to the road, between two parked vehicles. A
parking procedure can also be started here if the
front of the vehicle is already positioned in the
parking space.
– Forwards into single garages (minimum width at
the narrowest point 8.5 ft. (2.60 m)) when the
vehicle is positioned as straight as possible in
front of the single garage.
Pulling out
Pulling out works:
– Forwards out of parking spaces parallel to the
road that are at least approx. 3.3 ft. (1 m) longer
than your vehicle.
– Forwards perpendicular to the road to the left or
right.
– Straight reversing perpendicular to the road.
– Reversing out of single garages (minimum width
at the narrowest point 8.5 ft. (2.60 m)).
Preparing the cellphone
In order to use a cellphone for remote parking, it
must be paired with the active parking support.

1. Open the Device Manager in the PCM. To do
this, select

2. Select FernPark .
3. Open the Porsche Connect App

on the
cellphone.
4. Select in the app.
5. Follow instructions in the app.

Resetting pairing
In the event of connection problems between cell-
phone and PCM, the pairing must be reset.
1. Open the Device Manager in the PCM. To do
this, select
or in the header (depend-
ing on the connection status).
2. Options e Delete paired devices
3. Select the connected cellphone for remote
parking.
4. Select Delete .
5. Delete all connections to the vehicle in the set-
tings menu of the cellphone.
6. Carry out the steps for "Preparing the cellphone".
