Stage one – manual operation
e Press and hold button A in the first setting until
the required position is reached.
The process stops when the button is released.
Stage two – automatic operation
e
Briefly press button A to the second setting.
The slide/tilt sunroof opens automatically to the
final position.
e
To interrupt the process, press button A again.
Raising or lowering slide/tilt sunroof
e
Press button B .
The slide/tilt sunroof is raised or lowered to the
final position.
e To interrupt the process, press button B again.
Closing slide/tilt sunroof
Stage one – manual operation
e
Pull and hold button A or C (only steel slide/tilt
sunroof) in the first setting until the desired po-
sition has been reached.
The process stops when the button is released.
Stage two – automatic operation
e Briefly pull button A or C (only steel slide/tilt
sunroof) to the second setting.
The slide/tilt sunroof closes automatically to the
final position.
e To interrupt the process, press button A or C
again.
Closing the slide/tilt sunroof after repeated
intervention of the force limiter
WARNING
Anti-pinch protection
deactivated
Slide/tilt sunroof and sunblind close with their full
closing force. Parts of the body that become trapped
between the moving and stationary vehicle parts
may be crushed.
e Make sure that no parts of the body become
trapped between moving and stationary vehicle
parts when closing.
If the closing process is impaired by an obstruction,
the slide/tilt sunroof can be manually closed using
increased force.
1. Remove the obstruction.
2. Pull button A or C (only steel slide/tilt sunroof)
until the slide/tilt sunroof comes to a standstill in
the closed position.
Opening and closing sunblind
Stage one – manual operation
e Press and hold button C in the first setting until
the required position is reached.
The process stops when the button is released.
Stage two – automatic operation
e Briefly pull or press button C to the second
setting.
The sunblind opens or closes automatically to
the final position.
e To interrupt the process, press button C again.
If the slide/tilt sunroof is partly or fully opened, the
sunblind can only be closed up to the front edge of
the slide/tilt sunroof.
If the sunblind is closed, it will be automatically
opened together with the slide/tilt sunroof
(coupled).
Raising or lowering the slide/tilt sunroof does not
affect the position of the sunblind.
Closing the sunblind after repeated interven-
tion of the force limiter
