Teaching the automatic lift function
When first approaching an obstacle, raising of the
front end must be initiated manually and the location
saved.
1. Press the button.
2. Tap Save on the touch display.
A message confirming that the save procedure has
been completed appears on the PCM.
Information
If there are several approach paths to an obstacle,
such as on the outward and return route, it is nec-
essary to approach the obstacle and save the loca-
tion on both journeys.
Executing the automatic lift function
Raising the front end automatically
b b Automatic lift function activated.
b b Location for the automatic lift function taught.
b b Driving speed within the system limits.
When approaching a saved location, the front end is
raised automatically. A message appears on the in-
strument cluster.
Information
If the button is pressed during automatic raising,
the automatic lift function is aborted. A message
appears on the touch display of the PCM.
Lowering the front end
e Press the button.

Automatically at a speed above the system limits
of the lift system.
Adjusting the automatic lift function
The function can be activated and deactivated on
the PCM. Saved locations can be renamed or
deleted.
