1. Remove the obstruction.
2. Pull button C until the sunblind has come to a
standstill in the closing position.
Closing the slide/tilt sunroof in
the event of failure of the roof
mechanism
To have the slide/tilt sunroof repaired:
e Go to an qualified specialized repair shop. Por-
sche recommends an authorized Porsche dealer,
as they have trained technicians and the neces-
sary parts and tools.
Saving the final position of the
slide/tilt sunroof and sunblind
After emergency activation, the end positions of the
slide/tilt sunroof and sunblind are lost.
WARNING
Saving final position
When saving the final position, close the slide/tilt
sunroof and the sunblind with their full closing force.

Make sure that no one can be injured when stor-
ing the final position.
b b Vehicle is stationary.
1. Switch on ignition.
2. Pull and hold button C until the slide/tilt sunroof
has come to a standstill in the closed position.
3. Release button C and pull and hold it again.
Saving of the final position starts after approx.
10 seconds. The slide/tilt sunroof automatically
opens and closes once.
Saving is completed.
e Repeat steps 1–3 for the sunblind using button
A .
If the button is released before the slide/tilt sunroof
has come to a complete stop:
e Start the save procedure again.
Cleaning wind deflector
Clean the wind deflector with the slide/tilt
sunroof open.
1. Switch on the ignition and fully open the slide/
tilt sunroof. If the wind deflector is not fully ex-
tended, drive a short distance with the slide/tilt
sunroof open until the wind deflector is fully
extended.
2. Clean the wind deflector and mesh using a damp
sponge.
Cleaning the sunblind

Vehicle is stationary.

Ignition is switched on.
1. Open the slide/tilt sunroof fully.
2. Close the sunblind as far as possible.
3. Press button C of the sunblind
The sunblind starts to close after 10 seconds.
4. Press the button until the sunblind is fully closed.
5. Remove any dirt.
Exiting the cleaning function
e Drive off.

Operate the slide/tilt sunroof.

Operate the sunblind.
