LED HEADLIGHT OVERVIEW
IMPORTANT
Do not look directly into the headlight assembly when
illuminated. View LEDs from the sides of the lens.
The LED headlight is a sealed assembly and not
serviceable. The assembly is comprised a circuit board
located at the rear of the housing. A heat sink / wire
connector piece is attached to the circuit board.
The circuit board use the following number of LEDs:
• 4 for Low Beam Optics
• 2 for High Beam Optics
• 12 for Accent Optics

The low beam LEDs are powered by the RD/BK DC
Chassis circuit and are always on. When the driver
pushes the high beam button on the left hand control, the
high beam LEDs in the headlight will illuminate. The RD/
DG circuit power for the high beam signal comes from
the key switch and is connected to the YE/RD high beam
circuit. The high beam output will only turn on when the
engine is running.
NOTICE
The high beam LEDs and instrument cluster indicator
will only illuminate when the high beam button is
pushed.
Reference the above image when determining if all of the
LEDs are illuminating and when each set receives power.
If an LED is not illuminating, replace the headlight
assembly.
