SD Memory Card Security Function

[Use when starting the computer]
• If you add the check mark:
This SD memory card can be used when starting the computer.
A check mark is also added automatically in [Use the SD card when
starting the computer]
• If you remove the check mark:
All SD memory cards currently registered on this computer will be
unusable when starting this computer

[Use when logging on to Windows]
• If you add the check mark:
This SD memory card can be used when logging on to Windows
• If you remove the check mark:
The user name and password will be erased from the SD memory card
and the card will no longer be usable when logging on to Windows
z
[User name and password]
• You can change the Windows log-on user name and password which are
set in the SD memory card.
• When the set user name appears, enter the password and click [OK]. Then
enter the new user name and password
• [User name and password] can not be selected if the check mark is not
added to [Use when logging on to Windows]

Click [OK].

Enter the password and click [OK].

At the confirmation message [The SD card information registered in the Setup
Utility will be erased...], click [Yes].
