2. Push retaining ring out of groove in

shaft. See Figure

3. Push up on distributor shaft. Remove breaker

plate from distributor housing. Remove breaker
points from breaker plate. See Figure

thrust spring screw. Remove spring and ball.

7. Coat sliding parts of centrifugal advance mech-
