The Rovi Upfront Power Positioning System is typically configured with our
Maxx LNX Power Center Mount
legrest, but may also come equipped with a
Fixed Center Mount
(non-power) legrest. All center mount (CM)
Legrests allow for adjustment to the knee-to-heel length, as well as calf pad and footplate adjustments
(refer
to
Section 5.9
for detailed legrest adjustment information).
The initial angle of the CM legrests is set via the
legrest hanger during installation. Both the Fixed CM legrest, and the Power CM legrest on the Rovi-Upfront
MPPS must be installed at the perpendicular (90
°
F
mounting position when the sync leg actuator is installed.
RANGE OF TRAVEL:
The legrest hangers on the LNX Power CM legrest and the Fixed CM legrest are synchronized (via electronics
programming) to adjust automatically in conjunction with the Elevate/Reach function (
Section 3.3.4
), and/or
the Anterior Tilt function (
Section 3.3.5
). During the Elevate/Reach function, this synchronized leg limit
control will automatically tuck/rotate the CM Legrest hanger inward as the seating system transitions from the
Elevated position to the Reach position
1
. During the Anterior-Tilt function, the synchronized leg limit control will
automatically re-adjust the angle of the CM Legrest hanger to maintain a perpendicular legrest position
2
.
1
NOTE:
when the seat reaches 4.5” (11cm) of elevation, and prior to transitioning forward to the Reach
position, the CM Legrest hanger will automatically rotate (tuck) inward (approx. -10
°
) to provide additional
leg clearance.
(When a power center mount legrest is installed, the legrest must be in its’ fully retracted position
in order to maximize leg clearance at the Reach Position).
2
NOTE:
If the Power CM Legrest is ‘out of home’ (extended) prior to activating the Anterior-Tilt function,
the power legrest will return to its home position PRIOR to initiating the Anterior Tilt funciton.
The LNX Power CM Legrest will remain fully functional (able to extend and retract) in both the Elevated and/or
Reach position; The Maxx LNX Power Center Mount legrest provides infinite leg angle adjustment over the full
range of extension, and is designed to provide up to 9" of virtual articulation at the fully extended position-

WARNING! Risk of serious injury or damage
• ALWAYS maintain a minimum of
3 inches
between bottom of the front riggings and the floor/ground
while the wheelchair is in motion to ensure proper ground clearance. If necessary, elevate the front
rigging or tilt seat to achieve proper ground clearance.
• DO NOT leave elevating legrests in the fully extended position when proceeding down ramps or slopes.

CENTER MOUNT (SYNCHRONIZED) LEGREST- LOCKOUTS & LIMITS:
For Elevate/Reach:
An electronically programmed synchronized leg limit control automatically rotates (tucks)
the legrest hanger inward (-10
°
) on the LNX Power CM and/or the Fixed CM Legrest during the Elevate/ Reach
function
(see
1
NOTE
above)
.
For Anterior-Tilt:
A n electronically programmed synchronized leg limit control automatically rotates/re-adjusts
the legest hanger angle on the Power CM and/or the Fixed CM Legrest so that it maintains a perpendicular leg
position throughout the Anterior-Tilt function. For a Rovi-Upfront seating system configured with an LNX
Power CM Legrest, the power legrest will remain locked out (non-functional) when the seating system is in
the Anterior-Tilt position.
