7.6 CC-Link IE Field Network Communication Function

Read/write the IO-Link device parameters.
Use indexes, subindexes, and control data for the read and write operations. Specify data values relevant to the connected
IO-Link device.
The control data content is as follows.
• An error will occur if the control data value is set out of the valid range. (

• Execute the RIWT instruction before executing the RIRD instruction when reading parameters. For setting
data of the RIWT instruction, specify the data size (4 bytes), index, subindex, and control data (01H).
Execute the RIWT instruction and then the RIRD instruction to read parameters. For setting data of the
RIRD instruction, specify the data size (4 bytes + response data size).
■ Event data
Read event data that has occurred on the IO-Link devices.
If an event occurs on the connected IO-Link device, the corresponding bit of Channel n event flag (RX38 to RX3F) turns off
and on.
When all the events that have occurred are read, Channel n event flag (RX38 to RX3F) turns on and off.
For content of an event read, refer to the manual of the IO-Link device used.
Event data is not writable. An error occurs in the RIWT instruction if the write is attempted.
