Management Edition

Running Management Console from another workstation

To run the Management Console from another workstation, you need to
enable remote access by sharing the directory in which it resides.

Follow these steps to enable access to the Management Console:

1. Start Windows NT Explorer (NT 4.0) or File Manager (NT 3.51).

Right-click the folder where the Management Console is stored, and
choose

Sharing

The ... Properties dialog box appears.

2. Click the Sharing tab.

3. The Sharing page appears.

4. Click the

Shared As

option.

5. Click

Permissions

The Access Through Share Permissions

dialog box appears.

6. Check that Everyone has Full Control, and click

7. Click

to exit the ... Properties

dialog box.
