Checking virus scan status
When you have a large number of machines to manage, it is useful to be able
to view the entire network at a glance to see whether any machines have a
virus.
To view a graphical display of the network scan status, right-click
Anti-Virus Domain(s)
, and choose
Update Scan Status
. The anti-virus domain
view changes to reflect any updates from member machines and domains.
You can choose to save a copy of your scan results for archival or printing
purposes:
Follow these steps to save a text record of affected machines:
1. Select the affected anti-virus domain or
Members
group, and click the
Scan Results tab in the right pane.
The Scan Results page appears.
2. On the Scan Results page, right-click and choose
Save As
.
3. In the
Save As
dialog box, enter a filename, select a directory for it, and
click
Save
.
You have just saved a tab-delimited .TXT file of your scan results. You
can also save the results as an .RTF file and edit it later in Microsoft Word.
