Terminal Messages

There are two types of messages you can receive when using Terminal:

●

Error Messages

●

Information Messages.

Error Messages

The following messages are displayed in a window with an OK button:

Unable to connect to the remote host.

Terminal failed to connect to the remote host. If the reason for failure can be
determined, Terminal displays one of the following messages:

●

Busy, no answer.

●

The remote host is not responding.

●

The network is not responding.

The connection to the remote host was lost.

Some possible causes for this message are:

●

The remote host has crashed.

●

The network has dropped the connection.

●

The modem has hung up the line.

The profile {name} does not exist.

This message appears if you try to open a profile named {name} and it does not
exist.
