Installing HP OpenView 6.2
Script File Installation Method
Install was not able to find a Web Browser in well known
locations on your system. Until you install a Web Browser,
you will not be able to request your license over the Web,
nor will you be able to access the Network Node Manager Web
interface.
Please enter your Web Browser with full directory path or
enter "s" to skip: /usr/dt/bin/netscape
The following messages appear if you entered “s” to skip when prompted for the
directory path of your Web Browser.
* * * WARNING * * *
If you plan to install a Web Browser at a later time, you
will need to create the /etc/opt/OV/share/conf/ovweb.conf
file after your browser installation. You need to add the
following two lines to the file:
Browser: <Your browser name with full path> %s
Port: 8880
** NOTE ** This install program has chosen the following
browser for you: /opt/software/tools/bin/netscape
to launch Network Node Manager web interface.
If this is not the browser you would like to use, please edit
the /etc/opt/OV/share/conf/ovweb.conf file after this
installation.

No further interaction is needed for this installation.
A typical Network Node Manager installation takes about 25
to 35 minutes.
If you want to closely track the progress of the
installation, open a separate terminal window and give the
command:
tail -f /var/adm/sw/swagent.log
Notes and warnings will be written to this log as well as indications of the
installation’s progress.
