Enter the Database Server Name
prompt, do one of the following:

When prompted, re-enter the password.
The following message appears:
Creating /etc/rc2.d/S97sybase..Done.
Creating /etc/rc0.d/K01sybase..Done.
Creating /etc/rc2.d/S98sybase..Done.
The script creates the three listed files that activate and deactivate the Sybase
12.5.0.1 Server and the backup server. The script uses these files later in the
installation to shut down and start up the Sybase Server. The following message
appears:
You must add at least one more user account.
Enter name of the user [default: nms] ?

Press Return to accept the default (nms).

Caution –
In
step 4
,
do not
enter CASCADE for your database server name (it is a
reserved Sybase word); the installation fails if you use it. By default, the script uses
the system hostname. If the hostname contains a hyphen (-), you must not use the
hyphen because the installation fails.
Note –
In
step 6
, choose a secure password that you can remember (for example,
superbase
). The password must be at least six characters in length. If you enter a
password with fewer characters, you will be unable to initiate an
isql
session after
completing the installation.
Do not
enter CASCADE for the Database SA Password (it
is a reserved Sybase word).
