if you are installing the Sybase Server in a two-system NMS
configuration.
Note –
This system has two drives, and the second drive uses raw devices for the
Sybase database. The installation requires you to partition the second drive later in
Chapter 3, “Sybase Prerequisite Tasks.”
Note –
The recommended partition settings are only a guideline. The examples in the
table assume a 9-GB drive. If you are installing the operating system on a different
size drive, consult your UNIX System Administrator or call the Technical Assistance
Center. See
