Setting Up the System
The Sybase installation script:
•
Creates the Sybase and NMS user accounts
•
Creates additional user accounts
•
Assigns TCP socket numbers to the Sybase and backup servers
•
Sets the NavisCore device names
•
Sets the Master, Tempdb, Sysprocsdev, Data, and Log devices
To set up your system:
1.
At the Sybase Installation Menu, set up the system by entering

The following message appears:
Complete all prerequisite tasks before continuing. See

Press Return to continue.
The following message appears:
