NMS Post-Installation Sequence
After you install the NMS software on both systems, do the following:
Sybase Server (System 1)
To verify that the Sybase and local backup server are running:
1.
As the root user, enter
su - sybase
.
2.
Change to the install directory by entering:
cd ASE-12_5/install
Note –
After you install NMS software on both systems, make sure you have 123-MB
of free space in
/opt
on the HP OpenView/NavisCore workstation.
