Integrating NavisCore with HP OpenView
This appendix provides instructions on integrating NavisCore with HP OpenView.
To integrate NavisCore with HP OpenView using the script file, proceed to
“Script
File Method” on page D-1
.
Script File Method
Follow the steps below to integrate NavisCore with HP OpenView:
1.
Log in as root by entering:
su - root
When prompted, enter:
<root password>
2.
Insert the NavisCore CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
3.
Change to the
cv_scripts
directory by entering:
cd /cdrom/cdrom0/cv_scripts
4.
Run the installation script by entering:
./install_cvux
The NavisCore/UX Installation Menu appears (
Figure D-1 on page D-2
).
