Si  nécéssaire  remplacer  en  procédant  comme  suit: 

Réchauffer  dans  de  l'huile  à  100"...:...  120°C. 

Enlever les vieilles  guides avec l'outil 7090-3595-44  et insérer

Monter  les  soupapes  et  s'assurer  qu'elles  glissent  librement 
dans  les  guides.

Fra:ser  avec  fraises  normales  (Fig.  1 O)  à  45°  de  28  -è- 35 mm. 
de  0  et tige  de 7 mm.  les  sièges  des  soupape.s ayant  les  sui­
vantes  dimensions:

Fraiser  les  sièges  et rectifier  les  soupapes mème pour  des  rayu­
res  légères. 

Roder les soupapes dans les sièges avec une pate fine en suspen­

sion  dans  l'huile. 

Si  le  fraisage  du  siège  entraine  un  abaissement  excessif  de  la 
soupape  ou  si  la  surface  de  contact  (D,  Fig.  9)  dépasse  2  mm. 
de  large,  remplacer  le  siège  camme  suit:

Percer  plusieurs  trous  en  un  point  du  siège  avec  une  mèche

-è-

3  mm.  et  couper  le  siège  avec  des  ciseaux  sans  en­

dommager  le  logement.

Extra i re  le  s iège

Réchauffer  le  bati  dans  de  l'huile  à  160"

Monter le siège en le tassant avec un tampon ou une soupape
usagée. 

Il  est  recommandé  de  faire  l'opération  dans  un  ATELIER  de 
RECTIFICATION. 

La  rectification  et  le  remplacement  des  sièges  et soupapes  exi­

gent  toujours  le  rodage. 

RESSORTS  DE  SOUPAPES 

Vérifier  que  les  ressorts  ne  soient  pas  défectueux  ou  qu'ils 
n'aient  pas  perdu  leur  élasticité. 

La  hauteur  libre  doit  ètre  40,5...:...  41,5  mm.  (H,  Fig.  11). 

Vérifier  que  la  hauteur  sous  une  charge  de  17,0...:...  17,5  Kg. 

soit  de  24  mm. 

Remplacer  les  ressorts  si  les  hauteurs  sont  inférieures. 

RENIFLARD  CARTER 

Le  reniflard  carter  se  trOL,ve  dans  le  couvercle logement pous­
soirs  et  n'est  pas  démontable. 

Enlever  la  paille  metallique,  pianger  le  couvercle  dans  du  pé­
trole  ou  essence  et  essuyer  avec  air  comprimé. 

Vérifier l'intégrité  du disque  (Fig.  12) et remplacer le couvercle 
entier  s'il  est  endommagé. 

FILTRE  A  AIR 

Démonter  et  remplacer  le  joint  entre  carburateur  et  carter 

filtre,  si  endommagé  (Fig.  13). 

Laver  avec pétrole ou  essence;  si necessaire  !aver  en suite avec 
eau  savonneuse.  Envelopper  dans  un  chiffon  et  presser  pour 
essuyer.  Plonger  dans  huile  SAE 20/50  et presser  pour  eliminer 

l'huile  de  trop.  Remonter  le  filtre. 

Pour  les  moteurs  destinés  à  fonctionner  dans  endroits  très 

poussiéreux  est  prevu  le  filtre- à  bain  d'huile  (Fig.  15).

Cut  seats and grind  valves even for slight scoring on the parts. 
Lap  valves  on  seats  using  a  fine  grinding  compound. 

lf seat  cutting  causes  excessive  recess  of the  valve  or if sealing 
face  width  (D,  Fig.  9)  exceeds  2.00  mm.  replace  seat,  acting 
as  follows:

Drill  a  few  2

3  mm.  diameter  holes  through  the  seat  and

cut it through with a chisel avoiding damage to seat housing.

Warm  crankcase  in  oil  to  160

Press  new  seat  in  using  a  discarded  valve  or  a  pilot  drift. 

We recommend having this  job  done  by  a  skilled  MACHINING 

SHOP. 

Seat and valve grinding or  replacement  always require lapping. 

VALVE  SPRINGS 

Check if springs are damaged or have lost their elasticity. Spring 

free  length  must  be  40.5  -è- 41.5  rnm.  (H,  Fig.  11). 

Springs  compressed  under  a  load  of  17.0 -è- 17.5  Kg.  must 
have  a  length  of  24  mm. 
Re piace springs for lower length values. 

CRANKCASE  BREATHER 

Crankcase  breather  valve  is 

housed 

in  the  valve  tappet  cover 

and  is  not  removable. 

Remove  filtering  element,  dip  cover  in  kerosene  or  gasoline 
and  blow  it  dry  with  compressed  air. 

Check  valve  small  disk  (Fig. 12)  and  if defective,  replace  cover. 

AIR  CLEANER 

Dis?.ssemble  and  replace  gasket  between  carburettor  and  air 
cleaner  case,  if  found  faulty  (Fig.  13). 

Wash  filtering  element  in  gasoline  or  kerosene.  lf  necessary 

wash  again  with  water  and  soap.  Wrap  in  a  rag  and  squeeze 

firmly  till  dry.  Dip  in  SAE  20/50  oil  and  squeeze  to  remove 

excess  of oil.  Reassemble  air  cleaner. 

For  engines  operating  in  very  dusty  environment,  oil-bath  air 
cleaner  is  available  (Fig.  15).

masse  und  etwas  01  einschleifen. 
Falls  der  Yentilri.ickstand  nach  dem  Frasen  zu  gross  ist,  oder 

falls die  Breite der Sitzflache 2,0 mm i.iberschreitet (Abb.  9; D}, 

Sitze  wie  folgt  auswechseln:

Mit  einer  Bohrerspitze  von  2---è-3 mm  einige  Lèicher auf dem 
Radius des Sitzringes bohren.  Den Schnitt mit einem Meissel 
beenden,  ohne  das  Gehause  zu  beschadigen.

Sitzringe  herausnehmen.

Kurbelgehause  in  01  auf  160 

180°C  erhitzen.

-

Sitzringe  einsetzen;  dabei  ein  altes  Venti!  oder  Dorn  ver-

wenden.

Wir empfehlen,  diese Arbeit in einer Fachwerkstatt vornehmen 

zu  lassen. 

Das  Einschleifen  oder  Ersetzen  der  Sitzringe  und  Ventile  muss 
immer  mit  Feineinschleifen  beendet  werden.

NTILFEDERN 

Nachsehen,  ob  die  Federn  Risse  aufweisen,  oder  ob  sie  ihre 
Elastizitat  eingebi.isst  haben. 

Die un gespannte La11 ge muss 40,5 7 41,5 mm betragen (Abb. 11 ; H). 
Nachpri.ifen,  ob die  Federlange  bei einer  Belastung von 17,0---è-
17,5  kg  24  mm  betragt.

Falle  geringerer  Lange  Federn  ersetzen.

LUFTUNGSVENTIL 

Das 

Entli.iftungsventil  des  Kurbelgehauses  befindet  sich  im 

Stèisseldeckel  und  kann  nicht  abmontiert  werden. 

Metallnetz entfernen, Deckel in Petroleum oder  Benzin waschen 
und  mit  Pressluft  trocknen. 

Beachten,  dass  die  Scheibe  (Abb.  12)  unbeschadigt  ist.  Sonst 

ganzes  Venti!  ersetzen.

TFILTER

Dichtung  zwischen  Vergaser  und Filtergehause  demontieren 

und,  falls  beschadigt,  ersetzen. 

Filtereinsatz mit  Benzin waschen,  danach  sorgfaltig  auswringen. 

- Filtereinsatz  rnit  motorenèil  durchtranken. 

- Oli.ibermass  beseitigen  und  Filtereinsatz  wieder  zu  setzen 

- Bei  Motoren,  die in besonders  staubiger  Umgebung arbeiten

sollen,  wird  Olbadluftfilter  benutzt  (Abb.  15).
