Le  diagramme (Fig.  53)  reporte  l'intensité  de  courant (Amp.) 

à  la  valeur  des  tours  du  moteur,  avec  tension  de  la  batterie 

12,5  V.  constante  et  température  +  25

°

C. 

Si avec la tension de 12,5  V.  le  courant  de charge  est  nul ,  rem­

placer  le  pont  de  reddressement  et  contr61er  les  conditions 
de charge. Si cette  dernière  ne  varie pas, contr61er l'alternateur. 

Le

lnterrupteur  à  cléf 

Au  premier  déclic  la  cléf  actionne  le  circuit  charge  batterie, 
au second  le  démarreur (Fig. 54). 

A  moteur en  marche tenir  la  cléf 

sur  le  premier  déclic. 

En  position  de  repos  on  exclu  le  témoin 

charge-batterie. 

A  moteur  arreté,  tenir  la  cléf  en  position  de  repos;  sur  le  premier 
déclic  on  endommage  le  pont  de  reddressement  et

provoque  le 

déchargement  de  la  batterie. 

Démarreur 

Le  démarreur  est 

de

d'une  puissance  de  0.22  CV. 

La Fig. 55 mentre les courbes de puissance (P), le couple transmis­

sible (M),  le  nombre  de  tours (n/1 ')  et  la  tension  aux  bornes 
du  démarreur,  en  fonction  du  courant  absorbé (Amp.)  et  de 
la  capacité  batterie  pour  une  température  extérieure  de  20

°

C. 

Pour  les  réparations  s'addresser  à  un  Atelier  électrique. 

Batterie 

La batterie de 12  V. doit avoir une  capacité  minimum  de 36  Ah. 
avec  décharge  en  10  heures. 

Cette  capacité  est  suffisante  rien  que  pour  le  démarrage. 

Lors-ce-que la batterie sert aussi pour l'éclairage il est opportun 

d'augmenter  la  capacité. 

La puissance fournie  est en fonction de la température  ambiance 

et  par  conséquent  des  batteries  de  plus  grandes  capacités  sont 
nécéssaires  pour  des  basses  températures. 

Contr61er  que le  niveau  du  liquide  de  la  batterie  soit  d'environ 
5  mm.  au  dessus  des  plaques. 

INSTALLATION  PAR  DYNASTART 

Schéma  installation (Fig.  56):

- Connect a  1 O  Amp.  D.C. ammeter, in series, between battery 

positive  terminal  and  lead  from  rectifying  bridge  to  battery. 

- lnsert  a  20  Volt  D.C.  voltmeter  between  battery  terminals. 

lf  necessary  start engine  a  few times  until  battery  tension  has 
dropped  below  13  Volts. 

Diagram  in (Fig.  53)  shows  current  values  (Amp.)  referred  to 

engine  speed,  with  a  constant  12.5  V.  battery  voitage  and

C  ambient  temperature.  lf  with  a  12.5  V.  battery  voltage 

there  is  no  charging,  replace  reètifying  bridge  and  recheck 

battery  recharge.  lf  positive  results  are  not  obtained,  alter­
nator  should  be  replaced.

When  key  is  turned  to  "running  position ",  battery  recharge

absorbed  (Amp)  and  battery  capacity  at  20

perature. 

For  repairs  and  overhauls  contact  BOSCH  service  Stations. 

Battery 

The  12  Volt  battery  must  have  a  minimum  capacity  of  36  Ah. 
at  the  ten-hour  discharge  rate. 

Above  capacity  is  only  suitable  for  engine  starting. 

When the  battery is also  used for  lighting  system,  capacity  must 

be  increased. 

Battery  efficiency  is  influenced  by  ambient  temperature,  thus 

at  low  temperatures  a  greater  capacity  battery  is  required. 
Check  that  electrolyte  leve!  is  approximately  5  mm.  above  the 
plates. 

STARTER  GENERATOR  SYSTEM
