Révision: 

Contr61er  le  ressort  hélico'idal  de  retour  (2)  et  le  remplacer 

si  on  n'obtient  pas  la  sortie  des  doigts  d'entrainement  (3). 

En cas de casse de la cordelette (6) démonter la poulie (5), après 

avoir  déchargé  la  tension  du  ressort  à  spirale  (7)  comme  suit: 

- Placer  la  cordelette  dans  la  gorge  de  la  poulie  (5); 
- laisser  tourner  la  poulie  jusqu'à  épuisement  de  la  tension 

du  ressort  (7); 

- extraire  la  poulie  et  remplacer  la  cordelette  (6)  en  repliant 

l'extrémité  au  moyen  d'une  bague  métallique  de  façon  que
la  tension  de  la  traction  s'exerce  sur  les  pa:-ois  du  siège  et

'non  pas  sur  le  trou  de  passage  de  la  corde lette; 

- remonter  la  poulie  (5)  en  engageant  l'extrémité  du  ressort 

à  spirales  (7)  dans  son  logement; 

rétablir  la  tension  du  ressort  à  spirales  (7)  en  tournant  la

poulie

de  deux  ou 

trois  tours 

avec  la cordelette  (6)  com­

plètement  dérou lée.

La  tension  du  lanceur  automatique  ;:vec  la  cordelette  complè­

tement  enroulée  doit  etre  1,2--:- 1,5  Kg.  après  avoir  dépassé 
le  premier  point  de  friction  (Fig.  47). 

En  cas  de  casse  du  ressort  hélico°idal  (7)  le  remplacer. 

Le  ressort  de rechcnge  est  livré serré  par  un  fil  de  fer.  Ne  li­

bérer  le  ressort  en  coupant  le fil,  qu'après  son  montage  dans 
le boitier;  le placer de façon qu'il se charge en s'enroulant dans 
le  sens  de  rotation  du  moteur. 

EQUIPPEMENTS  ELECTRIQUES 

lnstallations  livrées  sur  de man de: 

1) Démarrage électrique par démarreur et alternateur  recharge 

batterie  (Fig.  48).

2) Démarrage électrique avec dynamoteur et recharge batterie.

Les  moteurs  avec  démarrage  électrique  nécéssitent  de  l'arbre

be started inserting a  rope in the  flywheel  hub,  in  the normai 
rope  starting  way.

Overhaul: 

Check  helical  return  springs  (2)  (Fig.  48)  and  replace  them  if 

engaging  dogs  (3)  do  not  slide  out. 

When the rope (6) breakes, dismantle the pulley (5),  after follow­

ing  procedure  to  release  spirai  spring  (7)  tension  has  been 
ad hered  to: 

- piace  the  rope  in  the  pulley  groove  (5);

- Jet the pulley turn back unti I  spring  (7)  has lost tension com-

pletely; 

remove  pulley  and replace rope  (6)  bending  in the rope ends 

to  fit  the  metal  ring,  so that  pulling  tension  is  exerted  only
on  the  housing  sides  and  not  on  cable  passage  hole; 

-

assemble  pulley  (5)  inserting  spirai  spring  (7)  terminal  into

its  socket;

restore  tension  of  spirai  spring  (7)  by  rotating  pulley  (5)

2  --:- 3 turns  with  completely  unwound  rope.

Rewind  starter  tension  with  completely  wound  rope  must  be 

1.2 --:- 1.5  Kg. after initial  friction  has  been taken up  (Fig.  47). 

Replace  spirai  spring  (7)  if  found  broken. 

Spare  springs  are  supplied  coiled-up  and  tied  with  wire.  Do 
not  remove  wire  until  spring  is  correctly  seated  and  mak.e 
sure  that  spring  winds-up,  when  turning  pulley,  in  direction 
of  engine  rotation. 

ELECTRICAL  EQUIPMENT 

Electrical  equipment  supplied  on  request: 

1)  Electric  starting  with  alternator  for  battery  recharge  and

starter  motor  (Fig.  48).

2) Electric  starting  with  starter-generator. 

3) Alternator  for  lights  only  or  for  lights  and  battery  charg­

ing.

On  engines  equipped  with  electric  starting,  camshaft  must  be 

provided  with  automatic  decompressor  (pag. 13). 

ALTERNATOR  ANO  STARTER MOTOR  SYSTEM
