D  - Au  maxi.,  avec  le  papillon  (2)  complètement  ouvert,  on 

obtient  une  dépression  dans  le  conduit  d'aspiration  qui  attire 

du  combustible  par  le  gicleur  du  maxi.  (6)  tandis  que  la  sor­
tie  du  mélange  s'arrète  à  cause  du  manque  de  dépression  dans 

le  conduit  du  ralenti  (7)  (Fig.  36). 

ENTRETIEN 

Débrancher  le  carburateur. 

Enlever  le  couvercle  avec  précaution  pour  ne  pas  déformer  le 

flotteur. 

Dévisser le tube d'émulsion, le gicleur ralenti et le gicleur maxi. 

Se  servir  d'air  comprimé  et  non  pas  de  pointes  métalliques 

pour  nettoyer  les  gicleurs,  les  trous  calibrés  et  canalisations. 

Contr61es 

- Vérifìer au  moyen  d'un  pian  de  comparaison  que les surfaces

d'étanchéité  entre  cuvette  et  couvercle  ne  soient  pas  défor­

mées.

Vérifìer  l'étanchéité  du  pointeau  et  son  glissement. 

Le  siège  pointeau  est  vissée  sur  le  couvercle  carburateur. 

Si  endommagé,  remplacer  le  siège  et  le  petit  joint  d'étan­

cheité.

- Vérifìer  que  le  flotteur  ne touche  pas  les paroisses  de  la  cu­

vette en éliminant les éventuelles aspérités avec toile émerie. 

- Le  papillon  mélange  doit  tourner  librement.  Le  diamètre 

de  l'axe  doit  ètre  5,975--'- 5,988  mm.  Pour  des  dimensions

inférieures  ou  pour  un  jeu  entre  axe  et  siège  supérieur  à

0,20  mm. remplacer la pièce usagée. Avec le papillon complè­

tement  fermé  la  distance  entre  la  surface  du  papillon  et  le

trou  du  ralenti  doit  ètre  0,04 --è- 0,06  mm.,  en  cas contraire 

remplacer  le  couvucle. 
Contr61er  que  le  papillon  starter  ne  soit  pas  usagé  et  qu'il 

soit  libre  de  faire  son  entière  rotation  (Fig.  37).

Controle  niveau  carburateur 

Fixer  le  couvercle  et  le  joint  sur  le  corps  avec  une  seule  vis. 

Connecter le conduit  combustible au raccord et le laisser affluer 

dans la  cuvette. 

Enlever  le  conduit  du  raccord  ainsi  que  le  couvercle. 

A  cuvette  horizontale  et  avec  le  flotteur  monté  mésurer  avec 

une  jauge le niveau  du  combustible  qui  doit ètre 10  7  12 mm. 

au  dessous  du  pian  de la cuvette  (Fig.  38).  Si  le niveau  ne cor-

OVERHAUL 

Dismantle  carburettor  from  engine. 

Carefully  remove  cover  to  avoid  deforming  float. 

Disassemble  emulsioning  tube,  idle  and  main  jets. 

Using  compressed  air  clean  and  free  from  dirt  ali  jets, 

fuel 

passages  and  calibrated  orifìces. 

Never use metal objects to clean jets or fuel channels. 

Checks 

- Check,  on  a  surface  plate,  for possible  deformations

of  bowl

and  cover  faces.

- Check  correct  working  of  needle  valve. 

lf  needle  valve  is  faulty,  replace  it. 

- Check that float does not touch against bowl walls  and even­

tually  remove  burrs  with  a  fine  emery  cloth. 

- Throttle  valve  should  turn  freely.  Spindle  diameter  must 

be 5.975 7  5.988  mm.  Replace spindle if diameter is smaller 

or  if  spindle-to-housing  clearance  exceeds  0.20  mm.  At 

fully  closed  position  of the throttle  valve,  distane"  from  idle 

discharge  hole to  the  valve face should  be  0.04

replace  cover  for  different  values.

- Check  that  choke  valve  is  not  worn  and  that  butterfly  fully 

turns  throughout  its  travel  (Fig.  37).

Fuel  lever  check 

Piace  cover  and  gasket  on  bowl  using  only  one  screw  to  keep 

parts  assembled. 

Connect  fuel  line  to  union  and  let  carburettor  bowl  fìll  up. 

Disconnect  fuel  line  and  remove  carburettor  cover. 

Keep  bowl  in  a  horizontal  position  and  with  float  in its  piace; 

check with  a  vernier  gauge that  the  distance  between the fuel 

surface and the top of the float chamber is 10 --è- 12  mm.  (Fig. 38).

taktflachen  von  Schwimmergehause  und  Oberteil  kontrol­

lieren.

Das  Nadelventil  soli  leicht  beweglich  sein  und irn  Sitz Dicht­

heit  gewahrleisten. 

Nadelventilgehause ligt in den Vergaserdeckel:  falls bescahdigt 

Gehause  und  Dichtscheibe  ersetzen.

Der 

Schwimmer darf die Wande des Gehauses nicht beruhren. 

Eventuelle  Unebenheiten  mit  Schmirgelleinwand  beseitigen. 

-

Darauf 

achten,  dass  die  Drosselklappe  frei  drehbar  ist.  Der

Durchmesser der Welle muss 5,9757 5,988 mm betragen. Falls

kleiner, oder falls das Spie I zwischen Zapfen und Lager 0,20 mm

Llberschreitet, Te ile ersetzen. Bei vollig geschlossener Drossel­
klappe muss der Abstand zwischen Klappenebene und Leesrlauf­

offnung  0,04 --è- 0,06  mm  betragen,  anderenfalls  Oberteil

ersetzen.

Beachten, 

dass  die  Starterklappe  nicht  abgenutzt  ist  und

dass  sie  leicht  verstellbar  ist  (Fig.  37).
