Caractéristiques

- Batterie  prévue  36 Ah.

Le  fonctionnement  du  dynastart  est  au  moyen  de  courroies 

trapézoidales  actionnées  par  une  poulie  spéciale  c6té  volant, 
avec  un  rapport  de  transmission  de  1  : 1,95. 

Pour  l'installation  consulter  le  Catalogue  Pièces  Détachées. 

Entretien 

- Démonter  la  protection  courroie.

- Etablir  la  tension  de  la  courroie.  Sous  la  pression  du  doigt

elle doit  céder d'environ 1  cm. Si  nécessaire regler en dépla­

çant  le  dynastart  dans  les  oeillères.

- Vérifìer  l'état  des  brosses  chaque  500  h.  en  enlevant:  le  col­

lier  de  protection  posté_rieur,  les  brosses  et  en  nettoyant  la 

cavité. 

Longueur  originelle  des  brosses 
Limite  d'usure 

23  mm. 
12  mm. 

Remplacer les brosses mème si une seule d'elles est inférieure 
à  la  limite. 

- Contr61er la poussée  des ressorts  des brosses au  moyen  d'un 

dynamomètre. 

Valeur  normale  850 -è- 1000  gr. 

Controle  installation 

- Contr61er  les  connexions  des  cables  et  des  isolants. 

- S'assurer  que  le  régulateur  soit  connecté  à  la  masse.  Le

manque  de  contact  de  masse  provoque  le  grillage  immédiat
du  fusible  à  l'intérieur  du  régulateur  dès  le  démarrage  du 
moteur.

Rétablir  dans  ce  cas  le  contact  et  remplacer  le  fusible  ou 

placer  un  conducteur  en  cuivre  de  0  0,5  mm.

- lnsérer  un  ampéromètre  de  15 Amp.  à courant continu  entre 

la berne  (B + /30)  du régulateur  et  la  berne  ( +)  de  la bat­
terie  (Fig.  57). 
S'il est nécéssaire  démarrer quelque fois le moteur ou insérer 
les  utilisateurs  jusqu'à  ce que  la tension  de  la batterie  baisse 
au  dessous  de  13  V. 

Le  diagramme  (Fig.  58)  indique  l'intensité  de  courant  (Amp.) 

à  la  variation  du  régime  du  moteur  (A)  et  dynastart  (B)  avec 
tension  de  la  batterie  constante  à  12,5  V.  et  température  de 

+  20

°

C.  et  60

°

C.

Si avec la tension  de 12,5 V. le courant  de charge  est nul, rem­

placer  le  régulateur  et  vérifìer  !es  conditions  de  charge.  Si 
celle-là  reste  invariée  contr61er  le  dynastart  au  banc  d'essai
électrique.

Dynastart 

Le  dynastart  a  une puissance  de 0,7  Kw  à  12  V.  La Fig.  59  re­

porte les courbes de puissance (N), le  couple de démarrage (M), 
le nombre  de tours (n/1 ') et la  tension  aux  bornes du  dynastart 
(V)  en  fonction  du  courant  absorbé  (Amp.)  et  de  la  capacité
batterie  pour  température  extérieure  de  20

°

C.

Starter-generator  is  working  through  V  belt  running  on  a 
special  flywheel  pulley  with  a  speed  ratio  1.95  : 1.

Te install starter generator refer to the Master Parts Catalogue. 

Maintenance 

- Remove  belt  guard.

Check  belt  tension.  Under  thumb  pressure  belt  mu�t  de­
press  1  cm.  lf  necessary  move  starter  generator  assembly 
in  the  slots  provided  to  adjust  belt  tension.

- Every  500  hours, check  condition  of  brushes, removing  back 

guard  strap.  Disassemble  brushes  and  clean  brush  seats.

Length  of  new  brush 

Worn  limit  length 

23  mm. 
12  mm. 

Even  if only  one  brush  is  worn  beyond  above  value,  replace 
both  brushes. 

-

Check  brush  spring  thrust  with  dynamometer. Normai  value
is  850 -è- 1000  grams.

System  check 

- lnspect  connections. 

- Make  certain  regulator  is  well  grounded.  Lack  of  ground 

connection  causes  regulator  fuse  failure  as  the  engine starts. 
lf this  happens,  restore  ground  connection  and  replace  fuse 

or  piace  a  0.5  mm.  diameter  copper  wire  te  act  as  fuse.

- Connect  a  15  Amp.  D.C.  ammeter, in  series,  between  termi­

nal  (8 + /30)  on  regulator  and  battery  positive  terminal
(Fig.  57).  lf  necessary,  start  engine  a  few  times or  switch
lights  on  unti!  battery  tension  drops  below  13  Volts.

Diagram  in  Fig.  58  shcws  current  values  (Amp.)  referred  te 
engine speed (A) and starter generator speed (B), with a constant 
12.5 Volts battery  voltage.  Readings taken  at temperatures of 
20

°

C  and  60

°

C.  lf,  with  a  12.5  V.  battery  voltage,  there  is  no 

charging,  replace  regulator  and  repeat  recharge  check.  lf 
positive results  are net yet obtained,  check starter motor  on  a 

test  bench. 

Starter-Generator 

The  12 V  starter-generator  has  an  output  of  0.7  kw.  Fig.  59 

shows  rating  curves  (N),  starting  torque  (M),  R.P.M.  (n/1 ') 

and  voltage  (V)  at  starter  terminals  in  relation  te  current  ab­

sorbed  (AMP)  and  battery  capacity  at  a  20

°

C  ambient  tempe­

rature.

Lichtanlasser

Abbildung  SO  zeight  die Werte  der  Leistung  (N),  den  Anwerf­
Drehmoment  (M),  die  Drehzahl  (n/1 ')  und  die  Spannung  (V) 
zwischen  den Anschlussklemmen  des  Lichtanlassers als Funktion 
der  Stromabnahme  (Amp)  und  der  Batteriekapazitat  bei  einer 

Aussentemperatur·  von  20

°

C.
