Appliquer  la  tale  de  protection et la poulie  de démarrage.  Blo­
quer  l'écrou  de  fìxage  volant  à  14  Kgm.  en  sens  anti-horaire 

(Fig.  71). 
Pour  empècher  la  rotation  pendant  l'opération  se  servir  d'un 

collier  ou  dispositif  similaire. 

SOUPAPES 

lntroduire !es soupapes. Placer  le moteur en phase de  compres­

sion, c'est à dire avec soupapes fermées, et mesurer le jeu entre 
soupapes et poussoirs avec une jauge d'épaisseur, en exerçant une 
légère  pression  sur  la  tète  de  la  soupape  (Fig.  72). 
Jeu pour  les  deux  soupapes  0,10...:..  0,15  mm. Si  le jeu  est  infé­
rieur, meuler l'extrémité de la tige, s'il est  supérieur, fraiser le 

siège  et  recontr61er. 

Monter  les  ressorts  de  soupapes  avec  les  cuvettes.  Comprimer 

les  ressorts  avec  l'outil  7090-3595-45  (Fig.  6)  et  centrer  la  cu­
vette  dans  l'extrémité  de  la  tige. 

Mettre  en  piace  les  ressorts  avec  un  tournevis  et  vérifìer  leur 
coulissement. 

MISE  AU  POINT  DISTRIBUTION 

Placer  le  piston  PMS  en  phase  de « croisement »  des  soupapes 

et  vérifìer  avec  une jauge d'épaisseur  que la  hauteur  de  la  sou­
pape  d'aspiration  par  rapport  au  pian  du  cylindre  soit 0,9  ...:.. 
1,1  mm.  (Fig.  73). 

Si  différente  extraire  l'arbre  à  cames  et  le  remonter  déplacé 

d'une  dent  par  rapport  à  l'engrenage  du  vilebrequin. 

ALLUMAGE 

Bobine  et  Rupteur 

- lntroduir  le  poussoir  dans  le  logement  du  bati.

- Monter  le  rupteur  avec  sa  plaque.  Serrer  les  trois  vis.

- Régler la distance entre les contacts à 0,65...:..  0,70 mm. (Fig. 74). 

- Monter  la  bobine  sur  le  bati,  sans  serrer  les  vis. 
- Placer  un  circuit  avec  une  lampe  témoin  et  fermeture  à  tra-

vers  !es  contacts  (Fig.  75). 
Tourner  le  volant  en  sens  horaire  jusqu'à  l'extinction  de  la 
lampe  témoin,  c'est-à-dire  à  l'ouverture  des  contacts. 

En  tenant  le  volant  dans  cette  position  régler  la  distance

(S,  sail_lie)  entre  le  bord  posterieur  de  l'aimant  et  le  bord 
intérieur  des  arrètoirs  de  la  bobine  à  11 ...:..  13  mm.  (Fig.  76).

Régler,  au  mème  temps,  la  distance  entre  la  bobine  et  ai­

mant  introduisant  un  carton  de 0,5  mm.  d'épaisseur  (entre­
fer,  Fig.  77).

- Serrer  les  boulons  à  1,0  Kgm.

- Relier  le  cable  primaire  de  la  bobine  au  condensateur,  ser-

rant  avec  écrou  et  contre  écrou.

- Relier le cable primaire à la berne de connection des contacts. 

Serrer  avec  vis  et  contre  écrou.
Appliquer  la  protection  plastique  sur  la  vis.

- Remonter  le  couvercle  rupteur.

nut  to  14  Kgm.  in  anticlokwise  direction  (Fig.  71). 

To prevent rotation of flywheel  during  torquing operation use 
a  celiar  or·a  similar  locking  device. 

VALVES 

lnsert  valves  in  their  guides.  Rotate  crankshaft  towards  com­

pression  stroke:  both  valves  are  closed.  Check  clearance  be­
tween  valve  stem  ends  and  tappets  using a feeler  gauge,  exert­
ing  a  light  thumb  pressure  on  the  valve  mushroom  (Fig.  72). 
Tappet  clearance  must  be  0.10...:.. 0.15  mm,  for  both  inlet  and 

exhaust.  Slightly  and  gradually  grind  valve  stem  tip  off  fpr 

a  too  small  clearance. 

lf  clearance  exceeds  given  value,  cut  valve  seat  down.  Valve 
clearance should be rechecked unti! correct clearance is attained. 
Assemble  valve  springs  and  spring  plates.  Compress  springs 
using tool  7090-3595-45 (Fig.  6)  and seat locking plates  in valve 
stems. 

Use  a  screw  driver  to  properly  seat  valve  springs  and  make 

sure  they  are  working  freely. 

VALVE  TIMING  CHECK 

With  piston at  T.D.C.  and  both valves lifted, check  that  inlet 

valve  lift  from  crankcase  face  is  0.9--::- 1.1  mm.  (Fig.  73). 

lf valve lift differs from above value, pull camshaft out and rein­

sert it changing meshing position unti! correct value is obtained. 

IGNITION 

Coil  and  breaker 

- lnsert  the  pushrod  on  its  seat  of  the  crankcase.

- Mount pushrod plate and breaker tightening the three screws.

- Set  maximum  opening  gap  of  points  to  0.65...:..  0.70  mm.

by acting on adjusting screw of stationary contact.  Assemble 
ccii  without  tightening  bolts. 
Connect  a timing  light to  switch  on  when  points  are closed. 
Turn flywheel in a clockwise  direction  unti! timing light  swi­

tches  off:  points  start  to  open.  With  the  flywheel  in  this

position  adjust  the  distance  "S "  (spark  advance)  (Fig. 

76),

from  inner  edge  of  left  end  of  armature  core  and  posterior 
edge  of  magnet  at  11...:..  13  mm.,  by  rnoving  the  coi!  in  the 
special  holes. 

Adjust,  in  the  same time,  the  gap  between  ccii  and magnet, 
by interposition of a 0.5 mm. thick cardboard (air gap) (Fig. 77). 

- Tighten  bolts  to  1.00  Kgm.

- Connect  the  ccii  cable  to  the  condenser,  tightening  it  with

the  n ut. 

Connect  the  end  cable  to  the  points  terminal  clamping  the

lead  with  screw  and  lock  nut  provided;  piace  plastic  hood 

on  terminal  clamping  screw  and  assemble  breaker  cover.

ENTILE 

Ventile  einsetzen,  Motor  in Verdichtungshub, d.h.  in  die  Stell­
ung der geschlossenen Ventile bringen. Spiel  zwischen Ventil�n

und Stossel mit Fuhlerlehre messen,  indem man auf den  Yentil­
Teller  einen  leicht.en  Druck  ausLlbt  (Abb.  72). 

Spiel  an  beiden  Ventilen:  0,10--::- 0,15  mm. 

Falls kleiner,  Ventilschaftende  abschleifen. Falls  grosser, Yentil­

Sitze  frasen  und  Spiel  nachprLlfen. 

Ventilfedern  und  Teller  montieren.  Federn  mit  Heber  7090-
3595-45  (Abb. 6)  zusammendrukken  und  Teller auf  dem  Schaft­

Ende  zentrieren.  Mit  Schraubenzieher  Federn  einpassen.  Dar­

auf  achten,  dass  sie  gut  gleiten. 

EINSTELLUNG  DER  STEUERUNG 

Bei  Kolben  am O.T. und  beide  Ventile  gehoben,  kontrollieren, 

ob  der  Hub  des  Einlasseventils  bezogen  auf  die  Zylinderober­

Flache  0,9...:..  1,1  mm  betragt  (Abb.  73). 

Bei  unterschiedlichen  Hub  Nockenwelle  herausziehen  und  sie 

wieder  einbauen,  nachdem  sie  um  einen  Zahn  gegenLlber  dem 

Kurbelwellenrand  verdreht  wurde. 

U NTERBRECH ER-Z U NDSPU LE 

- Betatigungsstange  im

Sicherungsblech  und

Sitz  des  Kurbelgehauses  einsetzen 

Unterbrècher  einbauen.  Die  drei 

Schrauben  anziehen.

Einstellschraube  des  Ambosskontaktes  locken.

Kontaktabstand  auf  0,65...:..  0,70  mm  einstellen  (Abb.  74). 

Ohne  die  Schrauben  zu  befestigen,  ZLlndspule  am  Kurbel­
Gehause  montieren. 

Parallel  zum  Unterbrecher  elektrischen  Kreis mit  PrLlflampe 
schalten. Schwungrad  im  Uhrzeigersinn  drehen,  bis  die

Lampe nicht mehr leuchtet, d.h. bis zur offnung der Kontakte.
In dieser Stellung durch schlicklicher Verschiebung der

Spule  innerhalb  der  eigenen  langlichen  Locher  den Abstand

(Abriss S) zwischen der Hinterkante des Schwungradmagnete_

und  der  lnnenkante  des  Spuleneisenblechkernes  auf

Durch  Darzwischenlegen  eines
