INSTALLATIONS  ECLAIRAGE  AVEC  ALTERNATEUR 

Alternateur  DUCATI  (Fig.  60). 

1  - lnduit;  2  - lnducteur  alternateur;  3  - Utilisateurs;  4  - ln­

terrupteur. 

Contro/e  insta//ation  sans  recharge  batterie 

Caracteristiques:  6V.-40W.  e.a.  (sans  recharge  batterie). 
Connecter  les  lampes  pour  une  absorption  totale  de  36--'-
40  Watt selon la puissance  dc  l'installation  et porter  le  régime 
à  3600  tours/1 '. 

La  tension  doit  etre  d'environ  7  V.  relevable  par  une  bonne 

luminosité  des  lampes. 

L'alternateur  alimente  directement  les  lampes  et  la  tension 

est  donc  reglée  par  la  charge  appliquée  qui  ne  doit  cepandant 
jamais  dépasser  40  Watt. 
Une  charge  supérieure  rend  les  lampes  peu  lumineuses,  une 
charge  inférieure  hausse  la  tension  et  br0le  les  lampes. 

Contro/e  installation  avec  recharge  batterie 

Schéma  installation  12V-50 Watt.  (Fig.  61): 

1 - lnduit; 2 - lnducteur alternateur;  3 - Pone de reddressement; 
4 - Batterie (pas livrée); 5 - Utilisateurs; 6 - lnterrupteur. 
Connecter les lampes pour une absorption totale de 48--'- SO Watt 
et  amener  le  régime  à  3600  tours/1 '.  La  tension  doit  etre  de 
12  V.  environ,  remarquable  par  une  bonne  luminosité  des 
lampes. 

Brancher  un  ampéromètre  à  courant  continu  de  5--'-10  Amp. 

entre  la  borne  de  con nexion 

+)  de  la  batterie  et  le  cab le 

entre  le  pont  de  reddressement  et  la  batterie.  En  absence  de 

courant, remplacer le pont et vérifìer la charge. Si elle ne change

ALTERNATOR  LIGHTING  SYSTEM 

DUCATI  Alternator  (Fig.  60). 

Check  o(  lighting  system  without  battery  charge 

Characteristics:  6  V.  50  W.  a.e. 

1 - Armature winding; 2 - lnductor;  3 - Utilizers; 4 - Keyswitch. 

Connect  lights  for  a  tota!  output  of  36--'- 40  Watts  according 
to alternator output and set engine speed at 3600 R.P.M.  Circuit 
tension must be approximately 7 Volts, easily detected by watch­
ing  brightness  of  the  lights.  Alternator  feeds  the  lights  di­

rectly,  therefore  tension  is  governed  by  the  lights  load  which 
must  never  be  greater  than  alternator  output.  Excessive  load 
will  drop  light brightness and  lower  load  will increase 'brig�t­
ness,  blowing  the  lights  out.

Connect  lights for  a tota I current absorbtion of 48--'-50 Watts 
and  set  engine  speed  at 3600 R.P.M. Tension  should be approx­
imately 12  Volts easily detected  by  observing the light bright­
ness. 

lnsert  a  5--'- 10  Amp.  D.C.  ammeter  between  battery  positive 
terminal  and  cable  connecting  rectifying  bridge  to  battery.  lf 
ammeter  does  not  show  current  passage,  replace  rectifying 
bridge  and repeat  check.  lf  positive  results  are  stili  unobtain­
able,  check  alternator. 

Never  disconnect  battery  /eads  whi/e  engine  is  running,  to  prevent 

damaging  a/ternator  and  recti(ying  bridge.

Leuchten  fur  eine  Totalabnahme  von 36--'- 40  Watt nach  Le,ist­

Anlage  einschlaten  und  Motorendrehzahl  auf  3600 

U/min  bringen. 

Die Spannung muss ca. 7 V vetragen.  Das erkennt man· an einer 

guten  Helligkeit  der  Lampen. 

Der  Drehstomgenerator  versorgt  die  Leuchten  direkt.  Die 

Spannung  hangt  deswegen  von  der  Belastung  ab,  die  niemals 
40  Watt  uberschreiten  darf. 

Eine 

hèihere  Belastung  fuhrt  zu  ungenugender  Lichtstarke, 

eine 

kleinere  Belastung  verursacht  eine  hèihere  Spannung,  und 

dadurch  verkurzt  sich  die  Lebensdauer  der  Lampen.

und  Ladezustand  nachprufen.  Bleibt  letzterer  gleich, 

Drehstromgenerator  kontrollieren. 

Niemals
