Controle  installation 

Contr61er  les  con nexions,  les  cables  et  les  isolants. 

Si l'installation  ne charge pas, les suivants inconvénients peuvent 
s'ètre  vérifìés: 
- Pont  de  reddressement  défectueux  (d"iodes  avariés). 

- lnducteur  démagnétisé  (installation  en  court  circuit). 

- Stator  en  ma�se. 

Batterie  avec  polarité  inversée  (court  circuit). 

- Batterie  à  masse  interrompue  (le  pont  de  reddressement 

peut  brGler). 

Alternateur 

Il  est  à  induit  fìxe  monté  sur  le  bati  c6té  volant  et  inducteur 

rotatif  à  magnétos  permanentes  logées  dans  le  volant. 

Démonter  le  volant  et  l'inducteur  au  moyen  de  l'extracteur 

7070-3595-26. 
Yérifìer la magnétisation du rotor au moyen de l'outil 7000-9727-

01 

(Fig.  50): 

- Appuyer  une  extrémité  de  l'outil  horizontalement  sur  le

p61es  magnétiques. 

- Maintenir  le  curseur  de  l'outil  avec  la  ligne  C  en  correspon­

dance  de  la  ligne  A  sur  l'étui. 

- Délivrer  le  curseur;  s'il  ne  vient  pas  attiré,  le  rotor  est  dé-

magnétisé  et  doit  ètre  remplacé. 

Vérifìer  que  les  enroulements  du  stator  n'aient  pas  des  rac­
cords  dessoudés  ou  des  traces  de  brGlures  ou  encore  des  fìls 

à  la  masse;  le  remplacer  s'il  est  défectueux. 

Yérifìer  avec  un  ohmètre  la  ccntinuité  entre  les  cables  ainsi 

que  l'isolation  de  la  masse  (Fig.  51 ). 

A  alternateur  monté  contr6ler  l'efficience  camme  suit: 
- Débrancher  les  cables  du  pont  de  reddressement. 

lnsérer  un  voltmètre  à  thermocouple  de  10 -è- 30 V.  à  cou­
rant  alternatif  ou  bien  un  tester  entre  les  cables. 

- Démarrer  le  moteur  et  vérifìer  que  la  tension  au  voltmètre 

ou  au  tester  soit:

Si  les  tensions  sont  inférieures  le  moteur  est  démagnétisé.

Electrical  system  check 

Check  condition  of  wires  and  insulations. 

Defective  alternator  charging  can  be  caused  by: 

- Rectifying  bridge  failure  (defective  diodes). 
- Demagnetized  inductor  (short  circuit). 

Grounded  armature  winding. 

Battery  pale  connection  reversed  (short  circuit). 

Battery  earth  lead  disconnected  (rectifying  bridge  rnay  burn 
out). 

Alternator 

Stator  armature  winding  is  fìtted  on  the  crankcase  and  rotor 
permanent  magnet  ring  is  housed  in  the  flywheel. 

To rernove flywheel and rotor assembly use puller 7070-3595-26. 
Act  as follows to check  magnetization of rotor  using tool  7000-
9727-01  (Fig.  50): 

- Rest  one  end  of  tool  horizontally  on  rnagnet  poles. 
- Hold  tool  slider  on  casing  rnatching  rnarks  C  and  A. 

-

Let  slider  free:  if  it  is  not  pulled  in  by  the  rnagnet,  rotor 

is  demagnetized  and  must  be  replaced. 

Chech  that  stator  windings  have  no  unsoldered  connection, 
burn  marks  or  earthed  wires;  replace  stator  if  faulty. 

With  an  Ohrnmeter  check  for  continuity  between  alternator 

leads  and  for  stator  winding  insulation  (Fig.  51). 

Check  assembled  alternator  as  follows: 

- Disconnect  leads  frorn  rectifying  bridge. 

- Connect  between  one lead  and  the  other  a  1 O -è- 30  Yolts 

A.C.  thermocouple  voltrneter  or  a  circuit  tester. 

- Start  engine  and  check  for  following  voltage  readings:

lf  voltage  is  below  table  values,  rotor  is  dernagnetized;  there­
fore  alternator  must  be  replaced.

Zur 

Uberprufung  der  Magnetisierung  des  Rotors  Gerat  7000-

9727-01  ve.rwenden  (Abb.  50):

Ein 

Ende  des  Gerates  waagerecht  auf  die  Magnetpole  legen.

Laufer 

des  Gerates  festhalten,  so  dass  Linie  C  der  Linie  A 

des 

Gehauses  gegenuber  steht.

Laufer 

loslassen;  falls  er  nicht  angezogen  wird,  ist  der  Rotor 

entrnagnetisiert  und  muss  ersetzt  werden. 

Nachsehen,  ob  die  Ankerwicklungen  keine  schaahaften  Lot­

oder 

Brandste/len oder  Kabel  mit Masseschìuss haben.  Ersetzen, 

falls  defekt. 

Mit 

Widerstandsmesser Windungsschlusse  zwischen  Kabeln  und 

Masseschlusse  kontrollieren  (Abb.  51). 

Anker 

ersetzen,  falls  schaahaft. 

Bei 

eingebautem  Generator  folgende  Kontrollen  durchfuhren:
