Second tray out of paper Technical Support Center:
Remove the tray insert of the second tray, and check the number of sheets in it. Try
adding more paper in the tray insert until it reaches the stack height limit. Check if
the tray insert can be properly inserted into the tray base. Clear the paper path of
any obstruction.
Turn off the printer by unplugging the power cord. Wait for 10 seconds, and turn on
the printer. If the problem remains, then remove the second tray from the
printer.POR the printer again, and run a test print. From the home screen,
touch
> Print Reports > Demonstration Page .
Reinstall the second tray to the printer. POR the printer. If the problem remains,
then replace the second tray.
Service:
Go to “Second tray out of paper service check” on page 2-92 .
WiFi not connected Technical Support Center:
Turn off the printer by unplugging the power cord. Wait for 10 seconds, and turn on
the printer. Check if the WiFi router is active. Check if the WiFi setup is correct.
Check if it can detect WiFi hotspots, and search for a network. If the problem
remains, then replace the printer.
Service:
Replace the wireless card. See “Wireless card removal” on page 4-38 . If the
problem remains, then replace the system board. See “System board removal”
on page 4-32 .
